A couple of years ago, I visited Miami for the first time and fell in love with my very first Cuban cortadito. Ever since then, I’ve been searching for one that could take me right back to that moment. Don’t let this cozy little cottage fool you. Behind that tiny window, they’re pulling some of the richest, smoothest, full-bodied Cuban espresso I’ve had in Atlanta. Bold enough to wake you up, smooth enough to make you savor every sip. I can’t speak for everything on the menu just yet, but if you’re craving an authentic cortadito, this spot absolutely delivers. 🔥☕️

One thing to know before visiting: there's no indoor seating—only outdoor tables. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal, but in the middle of a Georgia summer? That's a tough sell! ☀️🥵 I ordered the El Pollo Especial, and it definitely had some highlights. Their secret aioli sauce, paired with mustard and melted cheese, added a lot of moisture and flavor to the Cuban sandwich. The bread itself was fantastic—crispy on the outside with that satisfying crunch in every bite. 🥪✨ My only complaint was the chicken breast. It was a bit dry and chewy. Fortunately, the combination of sauces did a great job masking that issue and made the sandwich much more enjoyable. That said, once you get a bite without the sauce, the quality of the chicken becomes much more noticeable. If they could improve the chicken, this sandwich would easily be on another level. Overall: Bread: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sauce: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chicken: ⭐⭐⭐ Price: ⭐⭐ Summer outdoor seating: ⭐ 😅 Despite the heat and the slightly dry chicken, I'd still come back—just maybe when the weather cools down a bit!

Ropa Vieja bowl was delicious and authentic. I didn’t love the plantain chips but that’s a personal preference, they were still very crispy and fresh. Service was friendly (note after 4p pick up is at Bury the Hatchet) the only reason Atmosphere is 4 stars is because there was some light construction being done outside Bury the Hatchet- but that looks like it’s going to be a cute outdoor space. Would definitely order again- upset I didn’t try here sooner!

The sandwich was good, I had the chicken Cuban and a Cuban coffee. But 20 bucks for a sandwich and an espresso is a pretty hefty price in my opinion. All the employees were very nice though, so the price is really my only complaint.

Excellent Cuban sandwiches. Authentic. Tiny building. No indoor seating. Only outdoor tables in the parking lot. But, they keep them clean and it's not a busy parking lot. Only a few niche businesses share the lot. Still, most everyone does take out. A definite go to place if you are craving a big, tasty, authentic Cuban sandwich.
